Habitat for Humanity of Mahoning Valley is excited to launch a new initiative called Project Playhouse. This is a unique event that brings community organizations together to partner with Habitat and build playhouses for local families in need.
We will do a playhouse “build day” where local groups will come together to physically construct, paint and decorate these playhouses. The sponsor teams learn about the child/children who will be receiving the house and can make their playhouse unique for them. Every group will have their own kit of tools that they will need to build the playhouse. These kits include such items as impact drivers, batteries, hammers, levels, and more.
Every team is encourage to represent their business/organization during the event, so wear your company apparel with pride! Please wear comfortable closed toe shoes.

History
Habitat for Humanity of Mahoning Valley was established in 1989 by a group of passionate volunteers. Since then, Habitat Mahoning Valley has become a viable affiliate that serves Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties; has built or rehabbed more than 145 homes and operates two ReStore locations.
